even with three colleges and two high schools in columbia, this year's graduation season can't compare to the chaos of the bay area. for a solid few weeks there were multiple graduations every day of every weekend. i am thankful for the limited exposure to polyester gowns and inspirational speakers.

for the stephen's college graduation last weekend a reporter and i followed one graduate-to-be through her commencement. i like working this way. i missed some of the more graphic photos by focusing on one person, but i prefer the moments and connections that honing in can offer.
